Situated at The Beacon, in Gorebridge we have raised beds for growing fruit and veg, a sensory area as well as a children's area.

Gardening sessions on Tuesday nights are finished now till March 2027 when the days get longer again. We're now gardening on Wednesday mornings, 10.30 till 12.30 and still continuing on Sundays 11 till 1.Come and join us if you can, no experience necessary. 😊

The latest addition to the community garden. The cog wheel was part of the conveyor belt machinery, taking the coal from a local colliery pit head. It was kindly loaned to us by the Scottish National Mining Museum Collection Trust. We love it. 🥰

New colourful plants and grasses were added to one of the main flower beds today, now that the spring/early summer perennials have gone over. It was hot work. We hope you like it, the bees were on the flowers as we were planting them.
