We are sorry to tell you that we have decided not to meet at the moment, during the health crisis, to reduce the risk of infection.

Chit Chat meetings are suspended until after Easter. We will let you know when we restart.

We know that this will be a very difficult time for everyone separated from their families and friends. Some of our volunteers are happy to provide support and help by email. Please let us know if you would like help in this way.

If you are returning to your home country over this period we would like to wish you all the very best.

Our conversation topic will be Current Affairs.

This coming Wednesday,4th March 2020, Chit Chat which will take place, as usual, between 9.30 - 11.00 am at the Trinity Centre.

Our subject will be Shopping.

We are also having a service of Holy Communion for Chit Chat volunteers and any guests are very welcome to join us. This will be after Chit Chat from 11.15 to finish at 11.45.

Chit Chat will be at the Trinity Centre this Wednesday 26th February 2020 between 9.30 - 11 am.

This week we will be looking at some British Traditions and Customs, including holding a Pancake Race which is usually held on a Tuesday, just before Lent starts for the church.
We will also enjoy eating some pancakes.

This week our topic will be National Cookery including some well known British dishes and learning about food from your country.

For this week's discussion we will be asking questions dealing with a wide range of topics. It would be even better if you brought some of your own questions along that you would like to ask. If there is something about life in the UK that you find puzzling, do ask the question.

This is because the Trinity Centre is being used for another meeting.

Our theme will be 'Homonyms'. This is when two or more words have the same spelling or pronunciation but different meanings.
