Toby Chairs is a Yorkshire-based furniture maker with an emphasis on beautiful space-saving furniture for compact London living.
Currently we're specialising in Toby Chairs - elegant, foldable and ridiculously comfortable. The original idea for the Toby Chair is based on a long held, family secret recipe. When in 2016, Toby made himself a new pair of chairs for his canal boat, they garnered so much admiration on the towpaths of Yorkshire that he soon found himself taking requests. It feels good to be back in the workshop and back in West Yorkshire! Today we've been working hard ironing out the logistics for a collaboration with the giving young people aged 8 + the chance to make their very own peice of solid wood furniture

We love this show, and have some lovely friends here also exhibiting.
This evening is the preview evening, and Gin and Tonic will be served, so good job we brought our lovely side tables that are the perfect height for the G'nTs!

Another beautiful morning here at the Spring Craft Fair! The show is full of really inspiring designer/makers set amongst the beautiful gardens of . I'm looking forward to the chance to explore a bit more today as Pippa, my wife and part time fellow chair maker, is here to help man our stall. I'll hopefully post some more photos tomorrow. We're open until 6pm today if you want to come down and check it out for yourself.
