Your table, your personality!

The first table included a hand carved stag beetle in a contrasting dark rosewood.

Yhe second table was designed for a gentleman who was a bell ringer and bee keeper; with a removable turned bell and tiny carved bee.

The biggest single tree ring we have EVER had in the shop.
English curly chestnut, unfortunately it had to be felled for safety as the middle was rotten (Rowan is stood in what was the dead centre of the tree).

Carrying on with the bespoke veneered doors, adding the finished layons in stunning burr walnut and figured, smoked eucalyptus.

Where do we draw inspiration from?

This desk feels like a conversation between Art Deco opulence and mid-century Italian modernism. With rich timber, strong geometric proportions, and elegant marble-like inlays it has a distinctly sculptural presence. There’s a hint of Gio Ponti’s playful sophistication and the refined, architectural language of designers like Ico Parisi, while the stepped detailing nods back to classic Art Deco furniture. A piece that feels simultaneously vintage, tailored, and unmistakably contemporary.

Capillary waves. A tiny wave where the restoring force is controlled mainly by surface tension rather than gravity.
