What a fun morning we had the other day at Stitchill Village Hall where members of the UA3 group made some fab decoupage slate coasters to take home!

Here’s a wee project I just finished. So nice to get my brushes out again, I’ve missed them!
This is an Ikea chair that was waxed so that all had to come off first, then clean, sand and prime ready for this lovely neutral; Silk Stockings by Vintage with Grace Mineral paint
Upholstery was finished by the client
What a difference now that dark stain has gone
Sorry I’ve been very quiet lately on here. I’ve been busy squirrelling away in the background on a new career which I will be running in tandem with Fancy Drawers

What a great afternoon we had at Denholm Village Hall this afternoon creating these gorgeous slate decoupage coasters!
Everyone did brilliantly and we had loads of fun doing it too

What a fabulous evening doing a craft at home evening with Gilly Boal and her wonderful friends making decoupage coasters. I’ve never heard so much laughter 😆
