Polliander Vintage furniture restyled for the modern World. Everything has been hand picked and upcycled using traditional restoration techniques.

This is a small independent furniture design company, specialising in upholstery and up-cycling vintage furniture. Please peruse my photo albums, and my website too of course, to see some of the wonderful items I have for sale. Everything has been up-cycled by hand, by me no less (don't worry I'm fully trained in upholstery and restoration)) and more importantly everything is 'one of a kind' so you will never have that embarrassing moment "GASP" of seeing that special unique piece of furniture of yours in a friends' home.

The many many roles of running a business on your own…🤯… I love it but I do feel a cloning machine would be a huge help ….

If you happen to be lucky enough to find something you love and are able to make a career out of it then you’re in a very small minority…. It’s a pretty awesome position to be in…. You may never be rich, you may work too much….but over all…. It beats the rat race!

A bit of a studio move around and refurb…. Building new platforms for finished pieces to go. Rearranging in every possible configuration until I was happy. Trying to keep Toby away from sharp objects, saws and drills!!!! And a paint touch up that turned into a 3 day job…🤯… But I have a stunning massive chapel for a workshop so NOT complaining….just eating biscuits….

This is a little flash back to a students project earlier this year.
Lisa always brings in some challenging but ultra cool and unique fabrics, her taste is on point! Now I know this isn’t to everyone’s taste but hopefully everyone can appreciate its wonderful bright and boldness… ❤️

You can achieve a lot here in a week…. But if you bring a big armchair and you have no experience it won’t be easy and you might make me cry…🤣…
