Hi, I'm Ceri and thought it was time to re-introduce myself! 👋

I started White Mulberry in 2010 from my spare bedroom, crafting handmade cushions and lampshades to be sold at Christmas markets. Now, 16 later, I feel so privileged to run our beautiful studio in rural Hungerford, with a team that brings over fifty years of experience between us all!

We might be 16 years since the start of our story, but at the heart of everything, what we do hasn’t really changed. We still love working with beautiful fabrics, taking the time to perfect even the smallest details for our clients, and creating timeless pieces that really suit the homes they’re going into.

That’s the bit we love most. ✨

We collaborated on this bedroom with the incredible interior designer, Anna Wakeham.

Twin beds with headboards in Sarah Vanrenen's Dahlia, gathered valances in Penny Morrison, and green Sibyl Colefax cushions.

Gathered valances are all about the detail. Taking the time to get the gathers, proportions and finish just right means the fabric sits beautifully and the whole room comes together. It’s that attention to detail that makes bespoke feel so special. 🤍

Working with designer Anna Wakeham on a London flat, we made Roman blinds in Lee Jofa's Taplow fabric.

The botanical print works really well in this compact kitchen, bringing colour and pattern without overwhelming the space.

As we move into autumn, this colour palette is really calling to us 🍂

Warm copper and rust tones... there's something so inviting about these hues. But it's the finishing touches that really bring it all together. Born in a spare room, built by family ✨

White Mulberry started in 2010 with me making cushions and lampshades at Christmas markets, armed with skills passed down through generations of seamstresses in my family. What began as a spare-time passion became a dream when my daughter was born and I decided to leave the corporate world behind to do what truly makes me happy.

But I couldn't have done any of this without the people around me. My team aren't just colleagues; they're family. Together, we share a commitment to perfection, to listening to what our clients really want, and to bringing their visions to life with care and genuine craftsmanship. With over 50 years of combined experience between us, we show up every day because we genuinely love what we do.

A little weekend project for me... ✂️🧵🪡

I'm really pleased with how the gathered pleats now give the lampshade lots of texture, and the beautiful botanical fabric brings warmth, pattern and a little extra character to this cosy corner.
