Divan, ottoman or bed frame? Three beds, three different jobs. 🛏️
A divan gives you drawers for the things you use every week - and it splits in two for narrow stairs. An ottoman lifts the whole mattress, so the storage is the full footprint of the bed - for the things you keep. A frame gives you visible timber and air under the mattress, but the storage lives elsewhere.
The honest answer: choose on storage and looks, not on quality. And tape the footprint out on the floor before you buy - mattress size + 10cm, with 70cm of walking room on every open side.
