Sunday night reflection… The Aberdeen farmhouse has been something Annie has admired since starting her Architectural Practice 20 years ago. The ak|d team have had the opportunity to restore many Farmhouses just like this one to their former glory - breathing new life into its bones for modern living… and we can’t wait to see what’s instore this time.

Over the years, we have collated a catalog of Farmhouses just like these, off market opportunities waiting for their new owner. Looking for your next adventure? Give us a call 01467 475367 or email [email protected] to find out more.

| From Inspiration to Design Proposal |

Lisa spent the afternoon at Anderson's of Inverurie gathering inspiration, exploring materials, finishes and ideas before heading back to the studio to begin developing our initial design proposals.

It's always exciting to see how inspiration from the showroom evolves into the first stages of a bespoke interior design package.

Neil and Ruth first got in touch ak|d in 2021, looking for a new home in Aberdeenshire. Now, 5 years on, they love their home just as much as when they first moved in - Ground floor living, spacious Kitchen Dining Living space and connection to the outdoors.

After finding the right site, our team applied for Planning Permission for a new build bungalow to suit Neil & Ruth’s brief. Looking back, this is a successful example of joining the dots for clients and delivering a beautiful home to be enjoyed for years to come.

Behind the scenes, our team have been working hard to secure two plots through our Plot Discovery service.

We paid a quick visit to one of the sites last week to kick-start the design process - and we’re sure you’ll agree, the views are absolutely stunning.

We can’t wait to see how the plans develop and bring these exciting projects to life.
