We are still open! 😊
A few people have asked recently, so we'd just like to let everyone know that The Foam Shop is still open as normal.
Although Elmers Hardware next door to us has now closed, we are a completely separate business and continue to provide our full range of upholstery, foam cutting, cushion refilling, boat cushions, caravan cushions, furniture repairs and bespoke upholstery services.
Thank you to all of our customers for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming both new and existing customers into the shop.

Cushions and scatter pads completed
Templates were taken from each chair, with 2 cane chairs requiring fully bespoke cushions. Everything was cut to size and shape, with fabric panels and borders prepared, then sewn into covers with fitted zips and overlocked seams.
New reflex foams were made, and the covers finished in Aylesbury Autumn Porter and Stone (3 metres required), then fitted to the new foams for a clean, tailored look.
We also completed scatter pads using the customer’s own fabric. We supplied 3 x 20” x 20” polyester pads and made slightly smaller 18” x 18” covers, ensuring a full, plump finish. All covers include zips and overlocked seams 👌

Cushion recovery completed.
We measured the cushions for size, cut the canvas, and overlocked all seams before sewing new box-shaped covers with fitted zips.
New 4” firm foams were made for both seats and backs, with stockinette undercovers fitted for a smooth, professional finish. The new covers were then fitted over the fresh foams for a perfect result.
Finished in Agora Liso Indigo Blue fabric, 100% solution dyed acrylic with a Teflon finish, offering excellent stain and mildew resistance.

Cushion refilling completed.
New reflex luxury foams (soft to medium) cut to shape and size for a perfect fit. Each cushion finished with multi-thickness polyester wraps and stockinette undercovers for added comfort and durability.
All cushions then fitted back into their covers, leaving them looking and feeling like new.
