Always lovely to get feedback like this.

This customer came to us for LVT flooring in an upstairs room and was really pleased with the finish, the fitting and the overall value.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review.

Blue carpet is not exactly the safe choice, and that is probably why we like it.

The lighter shades feel fresh and relaxed, while the deeper blues bring much more character to a room.

Would you go pale blue, deep blue, or play it safe with grey?

A few more photos from a recent project in Cornwall.

We fitted Atkinson & Kirby Verdant Smoked Oak Parquet across the main living space, with Cormar Inglewood Saxony in North Star through the carpeted rooms.

One of our favourite little details is the black threshold strips between the different floors, tying in with the black window frames and door furniture throughout the house.

It all works really well together.

For anyone who wants the look of wood or tiles, but something a little softer underfoot.

Tarkett UK Home GripstarTEX range is a cushioned vinyl with a warm textile backing. It's available in classic wood, herringbone and tile designs.

It's comfortable and easy to clean, making it a practical option for busy family spaces.
Available to view in our showroom.

Keeping up to date with training isn’t just about the work we do in customers’ homes or out on site. There’s plenty going on behind the scenes too.

Last month, Ben, Glen and Rob were back on forklift refresher training with Zita from Right On Training .

It’s the second time Zita has been out to us, and it was great to have her back working with us.

These are some of the Abingdon carpet books we have in the showroom. There are plenty of shades that look almost identical online, but much less so when you see the samples next to each other.

And then there’s how they actually feel, which a photo definitely can’t help with!

If you’re struggling to choose, pop in Monday–Friday and have a proper look.

There’s a reason loop pile carpets are so popular. They give a lovely, timeless finish and, with the right care, can look great for years.

If you have one at home, we recommend vacuuming with suction only rather than using a rotating brush or brush bar. The brushes can catch on those small loops and make the surface look fuzzy over time.

Pets are worth thinking about too. If you have a a cat or dog whose claws tend to catch, just be aware that claws can catch the loops.

LVT has come a long way.

This Furlong Flooring collection has some lovely natural wood tones, without the upkeep that comes with real timber.

It is a practical choice for kitchens, hallways and open-plan spaces, especially if you want something that looks good but is still easy to live with.

Which shade would you go for?

We asked Tyler to choose her favourite from the Cormar carpet ranges, and she went straight for Silken Serenity.⭐️

“It’s my favourite because it has a really soft, luxurious texture and at a mid-range pricing point, its a great starting place for customers, .”

Sometimes seeing the colours and feeling the different textures in person makes choosing much easier.
