Some of the best evenings happen around the dining table. A homemade supper, another glass poured, and nobody in a hurry to leave.

Our Fell & Grain Borrowdale table, paired with Dale chairs, makes a lovely setting for just that. With a choice of leather and fabrics, including Aquaclean, you can make the chairs your own.

For everyday breakfasts and evenings that turn into mornings.

The sort of sofa you sink into. Grasmere has that relaxed, generous look that feels at home the minute it arrives — soft enough to feel inviting, clean enough to sit beautifully in a considered room. We love it with a quieter main cloth and a little texture through the cushions, but this is only one version of it. Choose the sofa first. Make the look your own second. Grasmere. Made the Lake District Way.

Sometimes the whole room turns on one fabric choice. A warm pattern against a quiet neutral changes a Bowness completely — without making the room feel busy. This is why we’d rather help you create your sofa than sell you one off the shelf. Start with the shape you love. Then find the fabric that makes it yours. Hundreds of possibilities, including easy-living Aquaclean options. Find your fabric with us in Kendal or Penrith.

A sofa should be the place everyone ends up. Bowness is made for exactly that: generous proportions, deep comfort and a corner layout that gives everyone room to settle in. Keep it calm and neutral, bring in colour through the scatters, or take the whole thing in another direction with your fabric choice. The sofa you love, made to feel like your home.

Come and sit on Bowness in store in Kendal or Penrith.
