It is with great regret that we share this today, that our father peacefully passed away after a long battle with cancer yesterday morning. He was a kind, talented and creative soul whose memory will live on in the things he repaired.

We want to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years at Summerfield repair & restoration (formerly Hero Workshops International). We are hugely grateful.

We sadly inform you that this business is now permanently closed.

🦢A lovely customer popped into our workshop with this amazing Swan Rocker, it needed a lot of work. Getting rid of the rust and colour matching the original paint, we think she looks amazing, not what we usually do but we'll do anything to help our customers so if you have a project you've started or one that needs working from scratch calling us here at

This lovely old teddy came to us with a lot of holes and feet and paws falling apart. We always try to keep all original as we can, this bear has new pads and repaired holes in his body. He is now back with his owner and both are very happy.🐻
