Each piece is carefully chosen,cleaned,painted,sanded, waxed and distressed by hand to e
nsure the piece will not only look beautiful but will last for years to come. Shabby chic is a form of design where furniture are either chosen for their appearance of age and signs of wear and tear or where new items are distressed to achieve the appearance of an antique. At the same time, a soft, well loved but cottage-style decor, is what set it apart from genuine period pieces. All our items are carefully hand painted and may show the odd brushstroke or colour variation in paint As with any previously owned piece of furniture there may be the odd bump or mark that comes with age, so please only bid if you like this style of furniture. I travel many miles near and far to source the items I sell and if there is something specific you would like me to look for please ask.
