Chopping board set made from various recycled hardwoods (sapele, maple, walnut etc). Carefully cut, glued, chamfered and sanded to a fine finish. 2 layers of food-safe danish oil and beeswax complete the look.

When you’ve got a bit patio tree you need a big planter! 13kg of recycled pine wood cut, planed, sanded, oiled and fully lined. This customer needed 3! Happy to oblige.

Was kindly given a load of wood from a local building site. Decided to make some new planters, especially with spring just around the corner (hopefully!). Started with a milling down process to make the pieces uniform. Then began cutting the wood into small pieces with opposite 45 degree cuts either end. Screwed and glued these pieces together into an octagonal ring. Drilled two holes into each piece and attached layers with screws and glue. Then planing and sanding and sanding and sanding....Lined the insides and finished with 2 layers of linseed oil. Job done!
