This was a battered tin box, which I’ve had for years and I thought it was time for an update 😊

I recently listed on various Christmas markets and FB marketplace the slate coasters that I had decoupaged with cute napkins, with the profits from sales going to the British Heart Foundation. I am pleased to say that I raised £50 and I’ve attached a photo of my receipt for all the lovely people who purchased the coasters to see. I’d like to wish you all a very happy Christmas too

Thought I’d keep myself occupied during this lockdown and do something useful 😊. These slate coasters have been decoupaged with cute napkins and I am selling them in virtual markets and FB marketplace, with the profits going to the British Heart Foundation. They are £3.00 each or 4 for £10.00. I can also post these out if required. Please send me a message if you would like to buy any. Thank you 😊

Elegant side table that’s had a total transformation! From dark brown to soft cream with embellishments in the form of Re-Design with Prima transfers and stencils. I used Posh Chalk pigments in Byzantine Gold and Soft Gold (mixed with a topcoat). I added Dixie Belle pearlescent glaze to give a soft shimmer over the top. The feet were coated in the Byzantine Gold and I then added some Dixie Belle brown wax to add some dimension.

Thought I’d have a bit of fun and do a paint pour trial on pumpkins! So pleased I used a box to do it in as it was so very messy and I didn’t wear gloves 🙈. When I saw all the residual paint in the bottom of the box I thought I’d try dipping some slate coasters into the mix and then letting them pour; I think they’ve worked out really well. I will seal them and they will be good to go. I used Dixie Belle paints and Posh Chalk pigment in pale gold and Byzantine Gold

Another charity shop find! Solid wood coffee table, painted with Cornish Milk Mineral paint in “Fish House” and topped off with an Iron Orchid Design transfer. Hard to show the true colour of the paint unfortunately, but it is a very very light grey with white undertones

This is a sewing box that I recently restored. It was in quite a state! I was unfortunately unable to save the wheels as I couldn’t remove the rust, even enough to paint them. For the cabinet I used Annabell Duke paint in Port Royal and sealed with Fusion h**p oil. The inside has lovely new fabric and wadding. The inside of the drawer was cleaned and coated with Dixie Belle’s “Big Mama’s Butter in Suzanne’s Garden. A pretty sausage dog drawer pull was the final touch 😊

This is my latest cocktail cabinet 😊. Painted with Fusion paint in the colour “Midnight Blue”. The back board is painted with the same colour; the stencil was done with “Posh Chalk” pigment Byzantine Gold. I hope you like it 😊

This was something new that I tried; buffalo plaid. I used Frenchic and Vintage with Grace paints. Tense moments as I removed the tape to reveal the pattern, so many times I thought it had gone wrong lol. The top was stencilled. Not perfect, but I love it. Before and after photos included. If you would like a piece of furniture painting please message me for more information

My lovely client asked me to refresh her grandmother’s dressing table, which had been stored in (I believe) a stable.

The table was given a thorough clean, the broken veneer was filled, glued, ironed and sanded. Two coats of Dixie Belle boss was then applied. My client had chosen Annabelle Duke paint in Wee Dix and I think she made a great choice. The dressing table was sealed with Fusion h**p oil.

I hope you like it as much as my client did 😊
