Power of Preserved Planting ⚡

Another monday highlighting an office favourite from 'The Top 25 Most Popular Offices of 2024' from Office Snapshots, and this week it's Qualit Air&Sea International Logistics in Istanbul, Turkey. 🌱

With their team consisting of three young co-founders and a young-dynamic group, they set out to create a space that fosters joy, creativity, and collaboration. The result? A colorful and energetic environment that reflects the team’s spirit. 👏

One standout feature is the use of preserved greenery, which contributes to the overall calming, biophilic atmosphere. The preserved planting features including Moss Walls & Preserved Hanging foliage really bring life to the space, creating a refreshing connection to nature without the maintenance. 🔧

One office that caught our attention in Office Snapshots: The Top 25 Most Popular Offices of 2024, is a standout for it's seamless integration of biophilic design.

Partners by Design created an inviting environment at the Husch Blackwell offices in St. Louis, Missouri. 🍃

Every corner of this office is thoughtfully enhanced with custom joinery, hanging plants, and feature greenery in meeting spaces. The result is an environment that feels alive, energizing, and truly connected to nature. Their aim was to blend 'proffessional' with 'relaxed' - and the planting plays a key part in providing a welcoming and concious space.

Kickstarting the year with a look at the Urban HQ in Belfast!

Created by the talented team at Kingston Lafferty Design, this 2,787-square-metre co-working space brings biophilic design to the forefront. They've created spaces that offer a refreshing escape from the desk, providing employees with green environments to recharge and reconnect with nature.

🌳 Green walls that bring the outdoors inside, improving air quality and providing a natural, calming atmosphere.

🌱 Integrated planters thoughtfully placed throughout the office, creating vibrant spaces where nature thrives alongside work.

☁️ Biophilic ceiling displays, enhancing the feeling of being immersed in nature from every angle.

After a frenetic final week of the year, criss-crossing the country, finalising installations and making sure all maintenance is in hand, our teams are heading for a well-earned break. 🤗

Biophilia is in our blood, however, and our Founder & Chairman, Robin took the opportunity to imbibe some inspiration by visiting London’s iconic Sky Garden on the 43rd floor of 20 Fenchurch Street, (also known as the Walkie Talkie). 🌿 🌱

Inspired he certainly was, and he shared some striking shots from his visit. 🏙️ 📸 🍃

Thrilled to share our latest collaboration with Maris Interiors, where we brought nature indoors for the prestigious The Berkeley Partnership in central London! 🏢 🌳

Tasked with creating a space that not only looks stunning, but actively encourages collaboration and community we came up with thoughtfully curated blend of biophilic design that seamlessly integrated with the existing interior palette of rich greens and reds, and a spectacular stretch of lush greenery framing custom banquette seating as a centrepiece. 🌱 🌿

Highlights include a living green wall that serves as a natural focal point, and a stunning indoor planting scheme that exemplified the concept of bringing the outside in! 🍃 🌿

This Biophilic integration, incorporating a colour palette inspired by the Australian landscape, actively supports employee wellbeing, facilitates a measurable reduction in stress levels, and improves air quality, creating a restorative environment that supports GSK's commitment to health and wellbeing. 💪

The future of the workplace design is green, and this project proves it! 💚
