PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | THE CORE, MANCHESTER 🏗️

Another substantial commercial tiling project delivered by the team at C. Vaughan Tiling Contractors Ltd.

Our works at The Core, Manchester involved the supply and installation of both small and large-format porcelain wall and floor tiling across seven levels of the building, including:

🔹 Male, female and accessible WCs across floors 1–6
🔹 Basement shower facilities and WCs
🔹 A combination of small and large-format porcelain finishes

📐 TOTAL TILING PACKAGE – 920m²

With almost 1,000m² of wall and floor tiling installed across multiple levels, this was a significant package of works requiring careful coordination, consistent workmanship and attention to detail throughout.

From intricate small-format tiling to larger porcelain installations, our team delivered a consistent, high-quality finish across all areas.

Another one completed in Leeds 👌

We’ve now finished the reception area and external planters at 100 Wellington Street, Leeds.

A great project to be involved with, with the tiling works helping finish off both the internal entrance and the external areas.

Hugo Boss, Meadowhall — complete.

290m² of 1200x1200 large-format tiling delivered to a high-end retail finish.

Large-format work at this scale takes plenty of planning, preparation and attention to detail, and the lads have done a cracking job from start to finish.

Another major retail project completed and another Hugo Boss store added to the portfolio.

We’re now on site at Hugo Boss, Kingston Upon Thames, London 👷‍♂️

Our team is carrying out 170m² of floor preparation and large-format porcelain tiling as part of the latest store works.

Another great retail project underway with careful preparation and installation key to achieving the finish required on large-format tiles.

Looking forward to seeing this one progress.

Nearing completion at Caldicott School in Slough 👌

We’ve now installed nearly 300m² of ceramic wall and floor tiling throughout the new sports pavilion, covering the showers, changing rooms and WCs.

A great-looking scheme and another project that’s really starting to come together as we head towards completion.

Well done to the lads on site for keeping the quality high throughout. 👏

We supplied and fitted the wall and floor tiling across 4 floors of WC areas, including the main corridors and washroom spaces.

A clean, modern finish with the feature wall tiles, terrazzo-style flooring and neat detailing throughout. Really pleased with how this one turned out.

Basement showers and changing areas now complete 👍🏻

A lot of detail has gone into this project, from the tiled feature walls and shower areas to the floor tiling throughout.

The mix of colours, textures and lighting really brings the space together and gives it a proper high-end finish.

Big credit to the lads for the attention to detail on this one, not always the easiest areas to work with, but the end result speaks for itself.

HTI, Preston

Founded in 1952, HTI is one of the UK’s largest independently owned designers and manufacturers of children’s toys.

We’re pleased to have started on site at their Preston premises, carrying out wall and floor tiling works across 3 floors.

Our works include WC tiling, staircase areas and reception floor tiling, with over 300m² of tiling to be supplied and fitted.

Airport work always comes with extra challenges such as security, access, deliveries, tight timeframes and working around live areas.

Alongside the logistics, this was a hugely challenging and intricate job that needed careful setting out and a high-quality finish throughout.
