✨ PROGRESS UPDATE ✨
The hard work is done... sanding and preparation are now complete on these two Stag tallboys.
Preparation is one of the most important stages of any furniture transformation. Taking the time to thoroughly clean, repair and sand the surfaces ensures a smooth, durable finish and the best possible result.
They may look a little tired and dusty at this stage, but they're now ready for the exciting part — paint!
Any guesses what colour they'll be?
Stay tuned for the next update!

NEW COMMISSION PROJECT
Next up in the workshop are these beautiful Stag tallboys, which will be transformed for a client's bedroom.
Both pieces will be finished in the same colour to create a cohesive look, but each will feature its own unique design on the drawer fronts, giving them individual character while still working perfectly together.
I always enjoy collaborating with clients to create furniture that is completely bespoke to their home and style, and I can't wait to bring this vision to life.
Keep following along to see the transformation from traditional Stag furniture to something truly special.

Check out my latest arrival.
This vintage Nathan teak bureau has been completely reimagine in dark green with beautiful gold floral illustrations and soft spring foliage, bringing a gentle decorative feel to the piece without taking away from its original mid-century charm. The deep green works beautifully against the warm teak interior, creating that lovely balance between classic and contemporary.

✨ The big reveal ✨
This Nathan mid century teak bureau has had a complete transformation — and this one is a little different to my usual style.
Finished in Fusion’s beautiful Manor Green, with elegant gold botanical, bird and floral detailing, this piece combines rich colour with delicate design while still allowing areas of the beautiful original teak to remain visible.
I wanted this transformation to feel timeless, sophisticated and full of character — blending mid century design with a softer, more decadent finish and I love how this bureau has turned out.
What do you think of this style direction?

✨ Time for some paint ✨
The transformation of this Nathan mid-century bureau is now underway, and I’ve started adding the first coats of Fusion Mineral Paint’s beautiful Manor Green.
This rich, sophisticated shade is already bringing so much depth and decadence to the piece while still complementing the warmth of the teak interior beautifully.
I love sharing these work-in-progress stages and taking you along on the journey. There’s still plenty more to come on this one… ✨🎨
