I’m absolutely thrilled that Honey Creates Home has been featured in this month’s issue of ELLE Decoration! 🥹
Seeing my furniture featured in one of the UK’s most iconic interiors magazines is something I’m incredibly proud of. What started with a love of transforming forgotten furniture into colourful, characterful pieces has grown into something I could only have dreamed of when I started.
From bespoke furniture art and creative reinvention to one-of-a-kind commissions, my aim has always been to create pieces that make you smile and bring personality into your home. 💚
And now seeing Honey Creates Home in ELLE Decoration feels pretty special indeed! 🐝✨

✨ A little departure from my usual style…

This early 20th-century Dutch Oak Carved Sideboard is such a special piece that I couldn’t resist giving it a completely different look.

Rather than hiding those incredible carved details, I wanted to highlight them with a soft, French farmhouse-inspired whitewash — letting the texture, craftsmanship and age of the oak still shine through.

I’ve loved playing around with this one and seeing how a piece with such traditional, ornate detailing can be transformed into something much lighter and more contemporary. 🤍

Would you have kept the beautiful original oak, or would you have given it a new lease of life like this?

Before and After ❤️
It is so satisfying to see such a complete change, from dark brown and heavy looking to fresh and contemporary. Creating this piece was a lot of fun, especially as I was allowed to do whatever I wanted for my client. The shape of this piece was crying out for something new to enhance the detail on these drawers.
I would love to know what you think 🤔 Brown, or colourful?

There are moments in business that make all the hard work worth it... and this was definitely one of them.
I was commissioned to create this beautiful dressing table set (and another piece) for the new Paramount+ production The Crow Girl Season 2.
Last night, I finally got to watch it, and spotting my furniture in the background was such an incredible feeling! I may have shouted at the TV a little! 🤩
Seeing something you've lovingly restored and transformed become part of a major TV production is something I'll never forget. It's a reminder that every piece has its own story, and sometimes that story ends up on screen.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Honey Creates Home along the way. Here's to many more exciting projects! 💛

✨ Before ➡️ After! ✨
From a dark, traditional Stag chest of drawers to a bold, joyful statement piece!
This makeover is all about proving that furniture doesn't have to blend into the background. Soft blush pink paired with vibrant coral stripes has completely transformed this classic chest, while the original brass handles add the perfect finishing touch.
I love taking quality vintage furniture and giving it a whole new personality. Every commission is designed to reflect my client's style, creating a one-of-a-kind piece that you'll never find on the high street.
Which do you prefer... Before or After? 👇 Would you be brave enough to have stripes in your home?
💌 Bespoke furniture commissions available. ♻️ Saving beautiful furniture, one transformation at a time.

My client had a very specific vision for bold, statement stripes, so these gorgeous shades were custom mixed especially for this makeover by Sophie James Exceptional Decor Paint.
I absolutely love working with Sophie James paints. The colours are rich, vibrant and beautifully pigmented, the coverage is incredible, and they adhere to so many different surfaces, making them perfect for transforming furniture.
I can't wait to show you the finished piece – it's going to be bold, fun and completely unique!
Have you ever fallen in love with a colour that you just couldn't find? Sometimes having a bespoke shade mixed is the perfect solution.

I absolutely loved bringing this wardrobe back to life! 💚
There's something so special about taking a beautiful old piece and giving it a whole new story. The soft green, the gold details and that gorgeous botanical design all work together to create a wardrobe that's full of character and charm. What do you think... would you have something this bold in your home, or are you more of a neutral lover? If you've got a piece of furniture that's looking a little tired, don't forget I also take on bespoke commissions and can transform your furniture into something completely unique.
