This time, she needed a storage unit to sit beneath her wall-mounted TV, so the proportions had to be just right—not just visually, but for everyday use.

We started, as always, with a conversation.
Looking at her space, her colours, and how the piece would live in the room.

From there, everything else followed.

From Free Find to Studio Star ✨

This vintage sideboard had one of the most extreme makeovers I’ve ever attempted. When I picked it up (for free!), it looked tired and forgotten. But I could see the potential.

Every single surface has been transformed: I added sleek bamboo panelling across the body, resurfaced the top with a fresh veneer, detailed it with gold trims, swapped in new handles, refreshed the interior of the drawers, and set it all on modern hairpin legs.

What was once overlooked now lives proudly in Wales, in the music studio of a producer — a true statement piece with a brand-new life. 🎶
