Very pleased with this ebike, pedaling is relatively easy and the motor is quiet. Steep hills need a bit of effort from the rider but hasn't defeated the ebike. The range in my case for the 14ah battery is 30 miles and recharge takes 5.5hrs
I find myself using levels 3-5 most of the time and find no benefit from 1-2 as you may as well have a conventional bike. Level 3 does 10mph. Level 4 does 12.5 and level 5 does 15.5 which is comfortable cruising but to avoid the motor assistance cutting in and out at top speeds then drop your gear to 6 and this prevents your efforts feeling like the brakes are coming on as the assistance limit is reached. If you adjust your gears accordingly then this ebike fulfills what you need within the laws of the UK at present. The ebike has quality parts and is well packed for delivery. Assembly is fairly easy and the mudguards, lights are a bonus. eco additional warranty and price for the bigger battery were a bonus. With the range I am getting then i would advise going for the bigger battery at the outset to prevent range anxiety.
Only ni**le at this time is the brake pads rubbing the disk on the front wheel but i guess this will ease off in time.

My partner and I got bikes 3 months ago (Ampere Deluxe & Legend Etna Folding) and we're happy to report that we've been so delighted with design, build quality and performance. We got the higher spec batteries as it's pretty hilly around Bath where we live, and there are so many cycle routes to explore! We had a few issues with delivery and assembly, but all were dealt with swiftly to our complete satisfaction. The foldable Legend mountain bike is great for journeys on the train, without the need to book a bike space. We would recommend Beeline Velo2 navigation and Halfords high-powered lights for off road cycling.

This bike is so easy to ride that it has replaced my car for all trips less than 50 miles!
The combination of gears and motor was enough for Cornish hills even with a gale force wind blowing towards me!
The throttle feature is super helpful for traffic lights and hill starts too!
It has held up even on muddy roads, questionable bridleways, and city centres during stormy conditions when I've been caught out unexpectedly!
Overall, an honestly brilliant piece of kit!

I investigated loads. Within 24hrs of placing the order my bike arrived? The courier had bent the derailleur. A few emails and a replacement arrived within days with a free accessory along with friendly service. The bike performs as I expected and is lighter than others with a longer range battery. My only suggested improvement might be a U shaped bracket beneath to protect the pedal cog when folded/ transporting in an upright position. Highly recommended UK company.

I searched for a long time to find an electric bike as they were all for taller people, I am 5ft 1" and the Ampere is just perfect for me, I can put my feet on the floor and getting on is a breeze. The bike is much more powerful than I imagined and with the addition of the throttle I glide up hills with zero effort, great when you have knee problems! It is a gorgeous looking bike, I bought the grey, and people have been complimenting the bike since I got it. It's performance is 10/10, it's a solid bike, the Rolls Royce of Bikes :) with great grip on the wheels when off road, I can't fault it. Worth every penny.
