Stage 1 has been completed: Removal of paint from the brickwork.

Stage 2: Regulated Abrasive cleaning of the bricks. This will renew the brickwork to their original colour without deforming their shape.

Stage 3: Remove old lime mortar and renew with new fine lime mortar. This type of mortar will allow the walls to "breathe" and will prevent dampness in walls.

The pictures are of the property at Stage 1.

The tiles have been replaced with new ""Burnt Flame" Clay tiles along with new Lead work.

ROKA employ multiple methods to restore architectural masonry. When micro-abrasive methods are restricted, a chemical peel is used to removal several layers of paint from delicate floral cast cornice/corbels.
The video demonstrates the removal of the paint after several days post application.

A very brief video to illustrate why we refer to our system as being "Micro-Abrasive" as opposed to "Sand Blasting". As most people identify this type of work as being the latter, we tend to offer reasons as to why it is different. The main reason is: We do NOT use sand - it is illegal!
Please take a look at our video. I'm negotiating video camera in one hand whilst blasting with the other!

ROKA are able to take its restoration technology into your home
using our highly portable micro-abrasive cleaning technology.

These photos were taken after we had removed the old dark brown stain and varnish from oak veneer panels, stair treads, handrails and intricate spindles.

By gently blasting the hardwood, we were able to keep intricate detail intact, and finish a very laborious task in no time.

The wall panels were made of an oak veneer of only 2mm! To apply a sanding machine to this panel would have completely removed the veneer.
