Realising a vision 28 floors above London. 🏙 MOST Architecture acted as the Architect on behalf of the main contractor, BAH, overseeing the technical delivery and coordination of Shanghai Me at the London Hilton Hotel.

The project was a race against time, with an intense eight-month construction programme. Working closely with interior designers FirstWithin, we utilised BIM to navigate the complexities of a high-rise setting—integrating vital fire strategies and mechanical systems without compromising the rich, Art Deco interior vision.

Where atmosphere meets architecture. 🍸 At the Bund Lounge, the challenge was balancing high-end luxury with rigorous technical demands. MOST Architecture served as the Architect for the main contractor (BAH), ensuring the intricate interior details were backed by robust coordination.

A key focus was the integration of complex acoustic separation and lighting systems within the Hilton tower’s existing structure. By collaborating closely with FirstWithin, we ensured the “invisible” elements—like acoustics and mechanical services—functioned perfectly to support the lounge’s sophisticated ambiance.

Historic House Mallorca [3/3]
Quiet light, layered textures, and the calm of slow living.

At the heart of the house, the original staircase rises toward sun-washed bedrooms overlooking the Serra de Tramuntana.
Downstairs, a soft-toned kitchen and a reading nook beneath the stairs capture moments of everyday stillness.
Outside, pale stone terraces and the pool reflect the island’s warmth and rhythm.

Simple gestures, natural materials, and a deep respect for place define the renovation.

Historic House Mallorca [2/3]
A home with memory and volume.
The original arched openings and beam ceilings have been carefully retained and restored, allowing light to move through the spaces with grace.

This historic house in Mallorca respects the bones of its historic shell while gently adapting it for a new chapter of island living. Doors open to terraces and garden on all sides, and the plan unfolds like a rhythm, not a diagram.

🔑 This past weekend, an artists’ open house transformed Baird Gardens into a space for creativity and community.

The new extension became a gallery, with bespoke clothes by the client, playful miniatures, ceramics, jewellery, and paintings filling the rooms. Conversations flowed across the kitchen and out into the garden.

At 32 Baird Gardens, our retrofit created a home that can hold family life, creative work, and artistic display all at once. Alongside two additional bedrooms and a second bathroom, the design introduced a workshop for the seamstress and fashion designer, a welcoming living room, a light-filled dining room, a reading nook, library zone, study, and improved garden access.

The extension is topped with a decorative wild grass roof, designed to soften the architecture and connect it to the landscape.

Designed with warmth, colour, and adaptability, Baird Gardens is now more than a home. It is a place that can grow, shift, host, and, as this weekend showed, become part of its community’s creative life.

Historic House Mallorca [⅓]
Stone, shade, and stillness.

The outdoor spaces at Kristin’s House in Mallorca frame the Mediterranean sun with clarity and calm. Terraces in soft cream stone step down into the pool, surrounded by citrus trees, climbing walls, and an upper-level veranda.

The house flows between indoors and out, with light and material taking centre stage.
