Depth is one of the quiet details that can completely change the character of cabinetry. By layering the door profile rather than keeping every surface flat, the design creates shadow, rhythm, and a stronger sense of craftsmanship. It gives the furniture more presence without making it feel heavy, allowing even a small workspace to feel architectural, detailed, and beautifully resolved.

A narrow space doesn’t always mean limited storage. With the right hinge system and internal layout, even the slim gap beside the oven can become a highly functional pantry.
Everything stays neatly stored, but more importantly, still easy to see, reach, and use. Because maximising space is not just about fitting more in, it’s about making every centimetre work properly.

The timber to the L&R of ovens are integrated handles. It introduces a softer transition between materials, gives definition to the appliance zone, and creates a focal point within the cabinetry composition. Small interventions like this help larger kitchen elevations feel more dynamic and less repetitive.

What looks like a simple pull-out storage feature is actually one of the most technically considered details in this kitchen.
This is a bespoke top-hung pull-out system, designed so the runners remain completely concealed. Being top-hung also allowed us to create this inverted L-shaped form, seamlessly integrating the Oriel oven surround while keeping every bottle visible, secure, and easily accessible.
From the internal clearances to the cabinet depth and movement of the mechanism, every millimetre had to be measured and aligned with absolute precision. Details like this only come together through technical understanding, craftsmanship, and experience.
