For the past 35 years The Dovetail Joint has been making and installing lovely long lasting bespoke kitchens and other built in furniture from our workshop in Forest Hill, South East London. Here are a few more photos of just some of our work…

We were really pleased to design and build this lovely Formica on ply kitchen in a newly built extension.

We hope you like this perfect Formica on plywood kitchen which we have designed, built and installed in what is a fabulous example of a 1960's show house in Chislehurst, as much as we do. We worked closely with the client to ensure that every detail was correct. The choice of colours and use of light in the room have all worked together to enhance the simple beauty and lines of this space, which overlooks the very pretty garden and outside seating and dining area. We have recently completed these lovely wardrobes in a delightful and newly renovated house in Bromley. These bespoke cupboards have six large drawers and plenty of adjustable shelving to provide lots of storage, as well as three lots of adjustable height hanging space. Full length mirrors on the inside of two opposing doors and a dressing table space and mirror inside one of the cupboards all add to what is an elegant addition to this master bedroom.

We’ve built in this very nice oak desk, shelving and cupboard with sliding doors , all stained to match the floor in this newly refurbished Arts and Crafts house.

I think we’ve made good use of a tricky under stairs space here. All made to measure, this furniture has transformed this family’s storage with shoes tidied away in drawers, the freezer tucked away in a cupboard and all of those other bits and bobs given a place to live.

We have just made and fitted this three door alcove cupboard to match the one we made for the other alcove a few weeks ago in this lovely house in Blackheath.

The confined space makes it hard to photograph this compact and perfectly fitted bathroom cupboard, but we’ve had a go anyway! All shelved out, it is designed to tidily store all of those bathroom essentials whilst blending in and hardly taking up any floor space.

We’ve just fitted this attractive bespoke built in wardrobe with a four drawer unit in a lovely 1930’s house. It really suits the bedroom and the house. It’s now all ready for hand painting!
