Function Follows Form

The Time Capsule Table - I created this to display and conserve the engineering beauty of not just the Aston Martin v12 cylinder head but the materials around it, the solid steel wheel created by the royal appointed wheelwright gives nod to the origin of wheels and solid oak pieces have a floating appearance showing the balance of wood and steel in the automotive world.

Created and then having it on display at Aston Martin Heritage Show a few years back was amazing.

How about a camper lamp in your camper van?

VW Camper Lamp, a stylish new addition to your home.

Perfect for VW enthusiasts or anyone seeking distinctive, sustainable decor, this lamp is crafted from reclaimed materials, blending modern design with a touch of nostalgia.
Crafted from Genuine VW T25 Camper Springs
The Camper Lamp features the iconic springs of the Volkswagen T25 (also known as the T3 in Europe and the Vanagon in the USA), giving it a true vintage flair. Each lamp is made using one front and one back spring, carefully painted in a custom-mixed Miami Blue and Estoril Blue for a unique, eye-catching finish.
Sustainable and Stylish Construction
* Nickel Light Fitting & Black Flex Wiring: Equipped with a brand new nickel light fitting and black flex core wiring, the lamp has been fully PAT tested for safety, ensuring reliability and peace of mind.
* Beech Wood Plinth: The lamp’s base is constructed from high-quality beech wood, complementing the blue tones with a natural, light finish, adding an organic touch to your decor.
Why Choose the Camper Lamp?
* Eco-friendly design: Made from reclaimed VW parts, reducing waste and giving new life to vintage materials.
* Unique decor: Perfect for VW lovers, those passionate about sustainable home decor, or anyone wanting an original lamp for their space.
* Durable & Safe: Fully PAT tested, ensuring top quality and safety for your home.

SAAB Firmback Party Bench – Unique, Restored, and Reupholstered and Available Now!

This striking mid-century “party bench” offers a timeless design with modern functionality. A rare find from the 1950s/1960s era, this bench has undergone a light restoration to bring back its original charm. The color has been refreshed, and a full re-wax has been applied to maintain its rich, authentic finish.

What truly sets this bench apart is the bespoke reupholstery with fabric taken from a Saab 99GL rear bench seat and interior trunk lining on the lower half. This stylish and unique fabric adds a dash of retro elegance, blending classic mid-century design with modern automotive styling.

The bench also boasts an innovative “two-in-one” feature: it folds open into two separate benches, making it ideal for hosting guests. After use, simply fold it back into its single-seat form for easy storage. This versatile and beautifully designed Firmback bench is as practical as it is stylish, offering both functional seating and a conversation piece for any living room or gathering space.

Perfect for lovers of mid-century modern design, automotive enthusiasts, and anyone looking to add a distinctive, functional piece to their home decor.

Thursday throwback - a pair of lamps I created, these are shock absorber lamps from a Porsche 993 Widebody Nurburgring Edition 911.

I created bespoke wooden bases created into the shape of the Porsche badge, the matching black base and shades allowed the camo green shock absorber to show all its character.

These were a great looking item and looked superb next to the customers PC.
