A first glimpse of Oakhill… 👀

For our first teaser, we’re focusing on one of the quieter details that helps define the entire kitchen — our 35mm modern Shaker cabinetry.

The slimmer frame gives the classic Shaker style a much more contemporary character, keeping the overall design clean, light and beautifully proportioned. Finished with Greenwich Pull Handles by Hendel & Hendel, the warm brass detailing adds just enough contrast and character against the soft cabinetry.

It’s a combination of traditional influence and modern restraint — exactly the balance we wanted to achieve throughout Oakhill.

And this is only the beginning… much more to come from this project.

FULL REVEAL — MUSWELL HILL ✨

After a few teasers, we can finally share the full project — and this one feels particularly special to us.

Designed by our Design Director Manuel Fusco, this Muswell Hill kitchen is a study in contrast: deep, dark-stained timber paired with beautifully warm natural oak, all brought together by the dramatic veining of the stone.

The large waterfall island forms the heart of the room, while the natural oak cabinetry introduces warmth and softness against the darker finishes. Bespoke slatted detailing creates a subtle transition between spaces, with illuminated display cabinetry, a dedicated drinks area and carefully considered internal storage adding those details that make the kitchen truly personal.

We particularly love how the lighting transforms the design — from the illuminated glass cabinet to the warm glow beneath the wall units and within the storage areas. It's a kitchen designed not simply to look beautiful, but to work beautifully every day.

And perhaps our favourite part of this project is that it's right here in Muswell Hill. ❤️

We've been part of this community for many years, so there is something incredibly rewarding about seeing local homeowners choosing a local independent business to create their homes. A huge thank you to our clients for trusting Point 5 Kitchens with such a special project.

Another very proud moment for the Point 5 Kitchens team. 🏆

Our Design Director, Manuel Fusco, has been named a 2026 Designerati Awards Finalist for Kitchen Designer of the Year – Under £40k.

Manuel’s background in architecture has always been a defining influence on his work. You can see it in the way he approaches proportion, structure, materiality and the relationship between the kitchen and the wider space. His designs are considered from every angle — not simply as cabinetry, but as part of the architecture of the home.

This project is a perfect example of that approach: warm walnut tones, beautifully balanced stone, subtle lighting and carefully controlled detailing, all working together to create something calm, refined and highly functional.

We are incredibly proud to see Manuel recognised once again by the Designerati Awards judges.

And there is a little extra pressure this year… 👀

Manuel has won this very category two years in a row.

So the question is…

Can he make it three? 🏆🏆🏆

We will find out on the night.

For now, congratulations to Manuel and to every designer nominated this year. It is a privilege to be recognised alongside such a strong group of talent.

TEASER No. 3 — Muswell Hill 👀

This time, we’re taking a closer look at a rather special take on pocket doors.

Instead of running full height, we designed these pocket doors to conceal only the upper section, allowing us to incorporate practical drawers underneath while keeping everything beautifully integrated.

Open them up and there’s another layer to discover — a mirrored back, warm internal lighting and timber detailing that ties in perfectly with the slatted panels alongside. A small connection, but one that brings the whole composition together.

Bespoke design is often about finding a solution that works for the space rather than simply following the standard.

This bespoke shelving display from our Englands Lane showroom combines warm walnut-effect melamine with Egger PerfectSense Matt in a rich burgundy tone, creating a striking balance of texture, depth and elegance.

Open illuminated shelving adds character and styling opportunities, while the geometric composition brings a contemporary architectural feel to the space. Designed to guide you naturally through the showroom, the feature wall subtly connects our kitchen display to the utility area beyond.

Positioned next to our modern kitchen display filled with Siemens appliances, the composition reinforces the flow between functional zones while maintaining a cohesive, high-end aesthetic.

Bespoke means bespoke. ✨

One of the things we love most about what we do at Point 5 Kitchens is the freedom to create something completely individual for every project.

These beautifully crafted natural timber fluted doors are a perfect example. Rather than relying on standard finishes or off-the-shelf solutions, we can develop details specifically for the space — from the proportions and fluting to the timber finish and bespoke brass handle.

It’s these smaller details that can completely transform a kitchen and make it feel genuinely personal.

And there’s something particularly special about seeing our kitchens becoming part of homes right here in Muswell Hill. A huge thank you to our local community for continuing to trust Point 5 Kitchens with their homes. 🤎

Teaser No. 3 from our latest Muswell Hill project. 👀

This time, the focus is on a detail that brings something a little different to the composition — a beautifully slim countertop cabinet, designed in a dark aluminium frame with tinted glass.

Positioned at the end of the wall units, it creates a refined visual finish to the run while introducing a completely different material and sense of depth. When illuminated, the warm interior contrasts beautifully against the dark frame, turning practical storage into a display feature in its own right.

A small addition with a big impact — and another example of how the finer details can transform a kitchen.

Moodboard Tuesday No. 5 — Depth in Design.

Dark, tactile and unapologetically sophisticated.

This week’s palette is all about depth, texture and understated luxury. Richly stained Beam Oak veneer sets the tone, bringing warmth and natural character to the tall units and sink run, while NCS S6020-B introduces a deep, muted blue across the island and wall units.

Inside, Kronospan Smoked Liberty Elm continues the darker story, while Neolith Iron Grey in a Satin finish adds a beautifully restrained, stone-like surface to the worktops.

And then comes the detail that ties it all together — stainless steel. Echoing the finishes of the fridge and appliances, its cooler metallic character cuts through the timber and blue tones, adding a subtle industrial edge to an otherwise warm and luxurious palette.

Natural texture. Deep colour. Refined metal.
A kitchen designed to feel rich, layered and timeless.
