Perpetiel Coaching Perpetiel is the angel of success and we're here to help you and your business be successful. So to get something different, you have to DO something different.

Perpetiel Ltd is a husband and wife team set-up after the birth of our first child to allow us to work more flexibly. Perpetiel is the angel of success and, although a little corny, the services we offer deliver success for you, your team or your business. Henry Ford said "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got." That’s not always easy, but that’s where a coach comes in…

A coach acts as a catalyst helping you to get from where you are now to where you want to be more easily and quicker than if you were to do it alone. Coaching is the relationship between us, the support, activities and discussions. It is not counselling or therapy, although many people find it very freeing and of course it is entirely confidential. Coaches use a varied toolkit of knowledge, experience and methods to help you achieve your goal. I will not judge or criticise.I will be your partner in success, I will question and challenge you, I will give you space to explore options and transform yourself and I will motivate and inspire you.

Do you have a dog?

How did they cope with fireworks last year?

I don't have a dog but I do know that lots of you do, so after catching-up with the amazing Karen Young today I'm sharing a blog she's written about Dogs & Fireworks - apparently fear can be shown in different ways so there's plenty of tips to help you as the night gets closer.

If your dog is experiencing pain, for example from arthritis or a muscular strain, they are likely to be even more reactive to loud noises.

"There's enough time to make a difference"

This is one of the things I said last Wednesday when I delivered a workshop to the 'Switch Network' in North London where I helped them create an end of 2026 action plan.

It was a real honour to meet these generous and amazing women and to hear that everyone who left got a lot from it was the icing on the cake.

The workshop was not about squeezing everything in to the last 2 months of this year but about pausing, reflecting & refocusing.

Susie beautifully summarised her key take outs as:

Pause: Ask yourself
⏸️ What has gone well this year?
⏸️ What have I learned?
⏸️ Where am I right now?

Reflect:
🤔 What shall I keep, what to lose and what to change?
🤔 Choose a specific target or think more generally

Refocus:
✅ Where are you now (A)
✅ Where do you want to get to? (B)
✅ What specific steps will get you there?
✅ Go forwards or backwards A-B or B-A

If you have a go I'd love to know how you get on 💬

Coaching Concepts Continued - The power of silence

Have you ever noticed how quickly we jump in to fill a silence?

We might ask another question, offer a suggestion or try to help someone find the answer.

But in coaching, silence can be really powerful...

When a coach asks a question and gives the client time and space to think it can help them explore their thoughts, make connections and discover something they hadn't considered before.

I love that sometimes, the most powerful part of a coaching conversation happens in those quiet moments.

Some coaching Qs for you
✨ Are you comfortable with silence, or do you feel the need to fill it?
✨ Have you ever had a lightbulb moment after taking a pause?
✨ What's one question you'd like to give yourself a little time to think about today?

I'd love to hear how you got on 💬

Do you experience imposter syndrome?

If you do you’re not alone. Imposter syndrome can show up even when we have plenty of experience, qualifications and evidence that we know what we're doing.

On 28 Oct at 10am I am delivering an online interactive Power Hour (open to all) where we'll look at how imposter syndrome shows up in our working lives, the stories we tell ourselves and, importantly, what we can do when that inner critic starts calling the shots.

Do you experience chronic pain in midlife?

Joint stiffness, muscle aches, neuropathic pain (e.g. tingling) and headaches or migraines can be among the symptoms experienced during perimenopause and menopause. But how often do we stop to consider whether hormonal changes could be playing a part? The NHS recognises muscle aches, joint pain etc as potential menopause symptoms.

Pain doesn't usually exist in isolation though. It can affect your sleep, concentration, mood and energy; making it harder to manage all the other demands of everyday life.

Sunday is World Menopause Day and the theme for this year is 'Chronic Pain at Midlife: From Recognition to Evidence-Based Care'

As a qualified menopause coach I regularly see brilliant women pushing through discomfort. In fact I was one of them until I went through the plan I now deliver. Bellieve me when I say that you don't just have to 'live with it'.

Menopause coaching isn't a substitute for medical advice or treatment, but it can help you understand your experience, explore what's within your control and make changes that support your wellbeing, confidence and day-to-day life.

💬 DM me directly to find out how menopause coaching can help you navigate this transition and safeguard your success.

Saturday 10th October was World Mental Health Day, and I spent it in London with 10,000 Girlguide members at The Big Gig – a concert for Guides and Rangers!

During the afternoon, our unit visited Pax Lodge and completed the Pax Lodge Challenge (got a couple of badges too, of course! 😉).

Then it was a quick trip across London to Wembley to sing, dance and have a brilliant few hours together.

I have to say, it was good for my mental health… although my throat and feet might have had a different opinion by the end! 😂

💭 It got me thinking about how we look after our wellbeing.
Sometimes it's the big things that make a difference but often, it's about the little things that bring us joy or help us feel connected to others. Sadly, how often do we put those things at the bottom of the list?

How did you spend World Mental Health Day❓ And what’s one thing that helps you feel more like you❓

If you're finding it hard to make space for yourself amongst all the other demands on you, that's something we can explore together through coaching.

I often get asked how I do so much and seem on top of my busy life.

First of all I am not always 'on top of my life', like everyone I have days when I get less done and times when I can feel overwhelmed. However I do have lots of strategies I use to help me get things done and feel in control of my life (which of course includes my husband and kids' lives too...)

One of my favourites is the 2 minute rule - basically if a task takes very little time to do and it can be done then, just do it!

This helps me in many ways:
1. It means I don't have to remember the task and my brain has space for other things.
2. Little things don't build up and start feeling overwhelming.
3. Reduces decision fatigue around what to do.
4. Builds a habit of taking action, which can help me get on with other things.
5. Gives me a sense of achievement.

Some coaching Qs to help you decide if the 2 minute rule is for you:
✨ What are you carrying around in your head that could be dealt with in two minutes?
✨ What happens when those little tasks start to build up?
✨ What would be different if you dealt with them as they came up?

Let me know how you get on...

One week today!

Am really looking forward to speaking at The Switch Network next week, to a group of women who've all 'switched' careers.

I switched from Change Management Consultant to Success & Wellbeing Coach after the birth of my first child. Pregnancy triggered 2 autoimmune conditions and I couldn't go back to living or working the way I had been. I'll be saying a little bit more about that along with running a practical session to get the most out of the rest of 2026.

Have you switched jobs or careers?

This is why I coach...

"Thank you so much! When I look back at where I was 6 sessions ago I can’t believe how far I have come, how calm & more in control I feel and how better I feel."

If you'd like to make changes in your life, feel calmer &more in control and/or feel better than you do now then get in touch.

💬 We will start with a no pressure chat about where you are and where you want to be, if I think I can help you we'll discuss a programme that's right for you - for example 6 bespoke sessions for £430 or the 7 session menopause plan which I'm holding at for £495 for now.

Pinch, punch first of the month - Wow it's October!!!

With it comes ADHD awareness month and Menopause awareness week.

And is it too ealry to mention Christmas... sorry probably is...

As a perimenopausal woman who is a qualified meno coach living in a neuro spicy house I'd like to share a few tips that might be useful for you if this month applies to you:

✨ Make things easier, not harder.
Can you remove a step? Set a reminder? Put something where you’ll actually see it? Break a task down? Sometimes a small change in the environment can make a surprisingly big difference. I've had clients move where they keep their meds and take doors of cupboads.

✨ Declutter and write things down to help clear thoughts, make decisions easier & allow space for the things you need in your head. I've had clients say this was the most powerful part of the menopause plan for them.

✨ Notice what drains you and what doesn't
You'll be no good to anyone if you don't. How can you do more of the things that boost you? I dance while cooking dinner!

✨ Don't every day to be the same
Energy, concentration, sleep and motivation can all fluctuate. Rather than beating yourself up because you’re not performing at your “usual” level, ask “What do I need today, and what’s realistic?”

✨ You don't have to reach breaking point to ask for help
Listen to your body and respond accordinly; perhaps you can ask someone to take something off your plate, talk to your GP or get some specific support.
