A very fine large George III mahogany side table, with a rectangular cleated panel top supported on an intricately carved open fretwork frieze to the front and sides, standing on round stop fluted legs, each terminating in square blocks. The mahogany top with superb colour and lovely patina.

An exceptional late 17th century William and Mary period walnut and marquetry cushion frame mirror retaining its superb pierced and arched cresting. The frame profusely inlaid with floral and foliate decoration some of which still showing the original colours. The rectangular mirror plate bevelled. Superb colour and patination throughout.

An outstanding example.

An outstanding and very rare mid 18th century George II carved mahogany side table. Of magnificent proportions, the frieze carved a central acanthus framed shell flanked by gadrooing on the lower edge, the cabriole legs carved with further stylised acanthus leaves and beading terminating in bold and fabulously carved claw and ball feet. With a wonderful Breccia marble top.

Exceptional carving, colour and patina.

Another look at the highly important pair of George II armorial painted hall chairs from the collections of the Earls of Scarsdale, Sutton Scarsdale.

Of sgabello form, painted moss green throughout with architectural detail picked out in cream highlights, the backs painted with the crest of Nicholas Leke, 4th Earl of Scarsdale, the seats with re-rentrant corners and a gently hollowed circle to the centre.

A HIGHLY IMPORTANT GEORGE III CHINESE LACQUER, BLACK AND GILT JAPANNED, AND PARCEL GILT COMMODE

SUPPLIED BY THOMAS CHIPPENDALE TO HAREWOOD HOUSE

The breakfront top with guilloche-carved giltwood banded edge above a conforming case with three frieze drawers over three deep drawers flanked by cabinet doors, on a moulded plinth base. Decorated throughout with exceptional Chinese lacquer and japanned surfaces.

An exceptional and historically important pair of late 18th century George III period carved giltwood and gilt gesso neo-classical wall lights. The carved detail of exceptionally fine quality throughout, the lights each adorned with ebonized opposing winged eagle crests over elegant giltwood frames with laurel wreath in-the-round collars, draped swags, scrolled arms, brass bobeches, a center ribbon topped tablet with a lion mask, eagle heads on scrolls and a leaf decorated lower stem. Retaining original water gilding.

An outstanding pair of neo-classical wall lights.

A rare George II period walnut side table. Impressively carved in the centre of the moulded deep frieze with a superbly detailed animated lion's mask in high relief, on bold carved cabriole legs carved with acanthus leaf detailing to the knees and scrolled ears, the legs terminating in wonderful lion's paw feet.

With a finely figured antique alabaster top.

Superb colour and patina to the walnut.

An important and very rare George III neo-classical satinwood, yewwood, rosewood and marquetry commode. The quarter-veneered top outline with purpleheart Greek key border, rosewood crossbanding and gilt brass gadrooned moulding, the frieze inlaid with Greek key pattern and with a drawer with central raised tablet applied with gilt-bronze swag and with each end with a smaller tablet applied with a rounde, the pair of doors veneered with satinwood and ribbon-tied crossed boughs and crossbanding similar to the top and enclosing three trays, flanked by pilasters applied with ormolu scallop shells and pendant leaves, on shaped bracket feet.

An exceptional and important pair of late 18th century George III period window benches.

In the neoclassical taste, of impressive scale, and with an elegant serpentine outline, the moulded scrolling sides above a fluted and leaf-carved front seat rail, on fluted bulbous tapering legs. Decorated with refined parcel gilt detailing on an off-white ground.
