Nickel Enterprises is a social enterprise run and managed by trainees.
The aim is to develop Nickel Enterprises into a social enterprise in its own right, which will enable people with learning disabilities to have paid employment for the work they undertake in the future.
The team is always increasing in numbers as more trainees join Nickel Support.
The type of businesses depends on what the trainees want to get involved with.
So far the different business directions the trainees have in gone is:
Vintage coffee shop
EBay
Up-cycling furniture
