S L O W S U N N Y S U N D A Y S // My love of Rif pottery - The antidote to mass produced, each piece has soul and character with their haphazard charm, wobbly lines, irregular burn marks from the traditional kilns, and rustic materials found from the land in the Rif mountains where these are made by Berber women in a tradition passed down through the generations π€

S L O W S U N D A Y S // A rug for all the seasons...
We love the way that these rugs work through the seasons - they add so much interest to a space in the summer, with the light picking up on the colours, depth and detail, and feel so nice to walk across in bare feet. In the winter they take on a new role adding an enticing cosiness and much needed layer.
Pictured is a premium quality Beni Mrirt, understatedly beautiful in a fawn grey tone with textured back lines. Available online β¨

One of my favourite scenes from our recent shoot with - These vintage green rugs always steal my heart... incredibly rare and hard to find, the colour level has a depth but also a softness. This isn't the rug for any interior, but find the right space and this will look incredible π

I'm so happy to have this collection here to share with you, as ever there are some really special pieces and I can't wait to share more of Katy's beautiful pictures that we captured of these in the coming weeks. But for now, hoping that everyone has a relaxing and beautiful bank holiday weekend π

Earthy neutrals and warm soft pinks form a big part of our latest collection of rugs which are all now online. We love this premium blush Beni Mrirt rug, where an abstract design has been created through the varying textures in the rug, all entirely hand made from the best quality wool and using natural dyes, each piece one-of-a-kind π

An exploration of Moroccan rugs via painting... It's safe to say that my obsession of Moroccan rugs is very real! I'm forever in awe of the craft and abstract creativity that each piece expresses, and so I decided to capture some of these on canvas as an abstract form.
Interior image of this in my home, by , and alongside one of our new candle holders π§‘
