That was the situation at the Royal College of Nursing's Grade II listed headquarters in London.

Furniture delays don't always have to delay the project.

Fit-out programmes rarely go exactly to plan.

The furniture package was specified, procured and installed within an eight-week programme. When supplier delays threatened the opening date, temporary furniture was introduced to ensure the space could open as planned while the remaining items were completed.

The result was a fully operational 23,600 sq ft workplace delivered without pushing back the launch.
