We all love pairs! There are no shortages of pairs of card tables, rare quadruple back chair settees, rare chiffoniers from the regency era and fine console tables, and much more besides! This charming George Ii period walnut is only 24inches wide. Made from a honey colour walnut with lovely figure and patina. It has a fitted stepped interior of small drawers and pigeon holes with a leather writing surface. Herringbone inlay and four cockbeaded drawers and standing on shaped bracket feet. This original piece would find a happy place anywhere in the house. We are open all the way to Christmas so call in and see us

We never specialise in ‘brown’ furniture. We specialise in fine, 18th century English furniture of all colours. This fine, Regency period writing table is fabulous as it is made from the exotic Coromandel wood. It’s striped top of all colours is quite eye catching. The top has a cross banded moulded edge with re-entrant corners, and raised on headed hockey stick legs with interesting carved and turned spindles. There are diamond shaped brass inlaid panels and brass paw castors. A beautiful table made for an elegant room

For people who love Satinwood with kingwood, this fine Sheraton period bookcase would certainly tuck all the boxes. With a beautifully fitted secretaire drawer and unusually painted swag and urn astragals, its elegance is for all to enjoy. This fine late 18th century piece would like marvellous in any setting. If you are a keen enthusiast of the old fashioned steam trains then look no further. Here is the perfect Christmas present! A bronze and ormolu locomotive supported on its original rail plinth base. Dating from 1830 and stamped Messenger & Son London and Birmingham and the burner stamped B Gardiner N York. Great quality in bronze and ormolu and engraved glass storm shades. West Indian satinwood always has a golden glow about it. This fine pair of card tables are ebony strung with kingwood cross banding on the top, with an inlaid sunburst panel. The tables stand on elegant square tapered legs with low collars and inlaid husk decoration. A beautiful pair that would add elegance to any interior. We are open today so call in and see us

This marvellous pair of Regency period armchairs in white painted and luxuriously gilded carved wood epitomises the luxury of the Regency interior. In the manner of the famed Morel and Hughes and Morel and Seddon, cabinet makers to the Crown, these fine chairs in upholstered in a blue - grey silk, raised on reeded tapering legs and original brass castors. They would look amazing in a period or contemporary interior

This handsome figured mahogany bow front chest of drawers dates from the latter part of the 18th century. The fabulous top is double cross banded in tulipwood and has an unusual panel to the front. The oak lined drawers are also banded in tulipwood with quadrant corners and flanked with similar inlaid columns. The chest is supported on short tapering legs with spade toes. This piece would fit into any home with either a period or contemporary interior
