Channeling my inner Dexter! 😅
Floor and windows fully protected before tackling the removal of long-established woodchip from the walls and ceiling.
This stage can get very wet and messy, so setting up a proper protective divide is essential to keep everything clean and under control. 💪🛠️

Love my job - It's varied, challenging and every day is different.
I have a few clients that book me a week at a time and we fit as many odd jobs in as possible. Great fun, getting lots of small tasks completed. Alongside re-painting the through-lounge, I fixed their kids buggy with a new part, erected a shed, painted the front door (and adjusted the dodgy hinges), mounted X2 TVs and buried the wires, mounted a sound bar, painted X2 fireplaces, repaired and repainted the front bay ledge, built a kids bed, converted a cot, built a TV unit etc

Last job of the year in South Woodford.
A full 9-day transformation, stripping woodchip wallpaper from the walls and ceiling, followed by thorough preparation of all surfaces — including the built-in wardrobes and UPVC windows.
The preparation was by far the longest part. Thankfully the walls were not too bad once stripped, however they still needed the old wallpaper adhesive removed, plaster sealed, imperfections filled etc.
Finished with undercoats and topcoats in Farrow & Ball colours:
• Ceiling in Light Grey
• Door in Dibber
• Walls, woodwork, wardrobes, and even the windows (for this I used Zinnser Allcoat which proved to be a perfect match) in Old White.
The result is a beautifully soft, mellow green tone throughout, although the photos really don’t do justice.
Hard work, but incredibly rewarding — the perfect way to finish the year. ✨🎨
