A different perspective . Consider your view from the house, from different points within the garden , back at the house, the view onto your neighbours garden and from upstairs as well !

Installed towards the end of last year and this garden is coming to life. A relaxed, natural vibe was the client’s request and I think we fulfilled that.
Loving the mixed species lawn 🙌 and so looking forward to seeing how this garden matures. (The climbers will hide those lighting cables soon ! )

What a difference the sun makes!

Thanks to Tom and his team who look after this Wimbledon garden so well. Good maintenance and developing a garden is so important and can’t be underestimated.
I always ask prospective clients if they plan to maintain the garden themselves , how much time they want you to spend doing it or if they plan to employ somebody to look after it. The planting plan I prepare needs to reflect that.

Fingers crossed for a sunny weekend!

Focal points are always important in a garden. These can be many things such as plants, trees, buildings, water features or a sculpture as in this garden.

Plan to integrate them into the garden using colour and planting as I’ve done here for example and you can see how over the years it all works as one.

What would be your ideal feature?
