Reigate - Update

First and second floor joists are in. Pilot holes were punched through into the existing house to pick up the floor levels.

We set up a hoarding inside the house which allowed us to create the first of the two openings from old to new. Steel is in for this opening and piers re-built below to support the steel by toothing in to the existing brickwork as specified by the drawings.

Bricklayers keep on going up and the next lift of scaffolding is being installed today to allow them to come back next week to finish off.

Reigate - New Project

With the end in sight at our Stoneleigh project the preparation work has already begun at our next project in Reigate.

Due to the large tree close to the boundary of this double storey side extension the footings were required to be piled in accordance with building control.

So our clients have been waiting a while for the building to start going up!

The brickwork has started and with the floor temporary in to help the guys get up to first floor level and the drainage has also been run ready to go.

Stoneleigh Project Update

All plaster-boarding, insulation and roofing completed. Its been busy during the last couple of weeks with more rendering being finished, along with plastering being starting, both bathrooms being tiled, second fix plumbing and gutter and downpipe being fitted. We also sprayed and fitted the timber cladding to the back of the ground floor extension and all windows being installed.

Credit to everyone on the team with the progress being made and the pushing towards the date we hand the house back to our clients 🔨🤙🏻👌🏼💪🏻👷🏻‍♂️

Stoneleigh Update

We’ve got to that wonderful stage of the project when the floor starts to go down!

All roofing now complete, including 4 GRP Fibreglass roofs being laid. Insulation being cut in and plasterboarding to begin today along with the scaffolding coming down.

Great work by the team as always! 🤙🏻

Stoneleigh Update

Top lift of our scaffold has been installed, along with the new roof being cut in. Internal walls of the new ensuite have been built and first fix plumbing run in. A couple of verges and a ridge have been finished along with some tiling and lead work on the lower roofs. Everything moving along nicely 👌🏼

Stoneleigh Project Update

All ground floor steelwork now in. All second floor celling and floor joists complete. Second floor blockwork on the way up and the second floor roof structure is finished. Ground floor dwarf walls went down on Saturday and the floor joists going in today. Great work by all too keep the job moving forward in this heat ☀️🤪😎

Stoneleigh Update

Brickwork up to first floor height and steels in. First signs of timber work going in, steel posts and scaffolding to go in before the end of the week. Sun still shining too ☀️😁

This is a 3 day project we carried out in Worcester Park last week. Customer wanted to make use of this area as a balcony. We stripped off the old coping stones, boarded out the area and fibreglassed the whole deck and edge. As its being used to walk on we doubled up on the resin coat and added in slate chippings with the top coat for a safe surface. Glass to follow once the house has finished being rendered.

We’re a month into our Stoneleigh project and things are moving along nicely. Garden is finished for now. Demolition has started on the back of the house and inside. Footings and oversite in. Walls going up. Steel work starting today 💪🏻 Great work as always by the team 👏🏼
