The Human Hand.

Last week, we welcomed guests to our Mayfair showroom with for the opening of The Human Hand, an exhibition curated by

Coinciding with PAD London and Frieze, the exhibition brought together art, craft and collectable design to celebrate craftsmanship, individuality and the enduring value of making by hand.

The morning began with breakfast among the works, followed by a guided tour of PAD London with art curator Anne-Laure Pingreoun of Mayfair Design District.

A fitting moment to reflect on the relationship between maker, material and object, and the human skill that gives each piece its character.

Rewild your sleep.

To mark the opening of our new Los Angeles showroom, we are looking to the natural world and to a philosophy that has long informed the way Savoir makes.

At the Welsh farm of Savoir co-owner Alistair Hughes, rewilding has meant stepping away from constant intervention and instead creating the conditions for nature to recover in its own time. Wetlands have returned, trees have been allowed to establish and wildlife has followed.

There is a natural parallel with craftsmanship. At Savoir, we work with materials such as wool, cotton and horse tail, respecting their individual qualities rather than forcing uniformity. They require time, judgement and the skill of the hand; an approach shaped as much by restraint as by intervention.

Both begin with the same idea: understand the material, work with it, and allow its natural qualities to do what they do best.

As we open the doors to Savoir Los Angeles, Rewild Your Sleep is an invitation to return to something more natural, more individual and more enduring.

We welcomed to our Mayfair showroom for an intimate conversation reflecting on his path to success, the evolution of his eponymous brand and the influences that have shaped his distinctive creative vision.

Next week, Savoir heads to Monaco Yacht Show.

On board a yacht, the bed is often built into the architecture, making the mattress itself all the more important. At Savoir, each mattress is made to order, allowing its shape, size and comfort to be tailored precisely to the space and the individual who will sleep on it.

Made entirely by hand using the finest natural materials, every mattress is crafted by one person from start to finish and signed by its maker. Traditional techniques and natural fillings create comfort that is entirely bespoke, with no two beds quite the same.

At this year’s show, our Luna bed will be on display at Stand PP58, offering visitors the opportunity to experience Savoir craftsmanship and comfort first-hand.
