This is a community art project, originally funded by the Government’s Community Development Foundation, administered by the Rushey Green Community First Panel in September 2014. The Tree sculptures are decorated regularly to bring attention to a local, national or international event. February

Meanwhile, as springtime is upon us (hooray) the Beds on the Green have delvered up 27 tulips, all looking good. Plus the plum tree has been full of blossoms.

In mid-March, Holbeach year 4 children were asked by us to do posters for Easter or to share what is currently important for them.
A range of topics and lots of Easter chicks.

Back in 2015, children at Holy Cross RC Primary were requested by their then teacher, Giovanna Finaldi, to make shamrocks and messages for the Trees. Eleven years later, here are some shamrocks that were kept in a box from what was one of the first displays at the Trees on the Green.
