Spalted beech has a character all its own.
The dark lines and patterns come from a natural process where fungi work their magic, creating something truly unique.

This is a personal project, with the legs still waiting for a Bancha lacquer finish. The idea is to contrast the sleek, glossy green finish with the beautiful wavy edge—perfect for making a honest and stylish statement in my entrance hall.
