Michael Anastassiades’ design philosophy is to preserve the inherent qualities of the materials he uses. All of the products we make in the studio are artisanally made and come in natural finishes, exposed to the elements without any protective lacquers. We see oxidation as a process that only adds to the patina of an object, making it more beautiful over time.

Hand-Patinated Brass
This limited-edition finish uses hand-applied pigments during a hot patination process, which results in a painterly effect, with colour stippled against the tonal brass. This patina will naturally reverse in colour, slowly becoming darker over time.

Referencing the ubiquitous office ceiling light, familiar for its functional, box-like form, and drawing inspiration from Ellsworth Kelly’s Windows series,
Frame emphasises strong horizontality within a precise grid format, emitting a dimmable warm glow.

Frame is crafted from nickel-plated aluminium housing a drop-in LED unit, and is presented in three sizes:
1×1, 1×7, and 3x3.

COMPOSITION TABLE AND FLOOR
LAMPS RELAUNCH

The Composition lamp features sculptural, elemental forms stacked to create a balanced, minimal silhouette. Its bespoke, disk-shaped LED-controlled via a touch dimmer-makes it an ideal reading lamp, directing light onto the page, away from reading eyes.
Unavailable for the past five years, the Composition table and floor lamps have now been reengineered and will be available to purchase from 1 January 2026 in two colours: white and earthen red, the latter developed to complement our signature red patina.
