A rare and collectible statement piece that perfectly captures the spirit of Italian modern design.
First introduced in 1958, the Lara modular sofa was designed by Roberto Pamio, Noti Massari, and Renato Toso for Stilwood. Its distinctive interlocking form allows the two elements to slot together like pieces of a jigsaw, creating a sculptural composition that is both functional and visually striking.
Restoring a piece like this is as much about craftsmanship as it is about design. Careful attention to structure, proportion, and upholstery ensures that the original character of the sofa is preserved while giving it a new life. Every seam, curve, and finish is considered so the piece sits exactly as intended.
Reupholstered in a stunning mohair velvet by , which enhances the sofa’s soft geometry and adds depth and richness to the form.

A quiet moment of craftsmanship within a beautifully restored North London Victorian home by Tala Fustok Studio, recently featured in .
For this project we were commissioned to produce a bespoke velvet sofa with hand-aged brass legs, together with a series of metal framed bar stools upholstered in suede. The intention was to create pieces that would sit naturally within the calm, layered interior, refined yet understated, allowing the materials and proportions to speak quietly within the space.
The sofa was crafted in our London workshop and upholstered in velvet chosen for its depth and softness, while the stools combine precise metalwork with hand upholstered suede seats. Each piece was made specifically for the project, reflecting the studio’s thoughtful approach to detail and materiality.
It is always a privilege to collaborate with designers who value craftsmanship and considered making.

In the Private Dining Room, sage green leather from Alflied complements antique mirrors and soft green accents, creating a beautifully lit space. Rich red leather from Yarwood was selected for the main dining area to enhance the restaurant’s French-inspired atmosphere. This project reflects a perfect blend of style, comfort, and durability, elevating the sophistication of the venue.
