Folky cabin beds designed in collaboration with Tor Saer 🌿 Inspired by the motifs in the Lewis & Wood “Baltimore” fabric which will be used for the curtains in this children’s bedroom, my painted design also features elements personal to the client. Thank you Tor Saer for commissioning me for this fun project, I can’t wait to see the finished room!

And that’s a wrap! The last month has been an utter joy living and working on the most beautiful site and soaking up inspiration from the surrounding grounds which forms the backdrop of this enormous scenic mural traversing three flights of stairs. It is almost impossible to convey the true scale of this project in photos and videos, and the trickiest part was designing a continuous landscape across these levels (the two horizon lines across the big wall meant normal rules of perspective had to go out the window!) but I am really pleased with the result. I cannot describe how lucky I feel to have been working for the most gorgeous family, whose trust, generosity and kindness made this job so special, along with a first-class team of guys working to get the house finished who made the last month such a hoot! A joy to paint one of the painted panel backdrops of Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin for ‘s incredible dreamy forest installation at for Sketch in Bloom, celebrating A.A. Milne. Designs and concept by LVF Creative Studio. 🍯
Extra nice to work with my sister, Dora a fab portrait artist who painted the other scene of Pooh & Christopher Robin leaning over the bridge (last pic).

Been very busy the last few months and looking forward to sharing what I’ve been up to soon!
One of those things has been designing a *really* big mural which I’m super excited to start painting in a few weeks time! 🌲 Here’s a little insight into the design process (minus all the head-scratching about how to make a horizon line work across 3 levels 😵💫)
