Most pieces are one-off commissions but we also (if pressed) undertake major projects. Our style is modern English folk, or as someone else once described it ‘Mid-century Medieval’.

These are my latest chairs and table. The chairs are a fresh idea for me – using an upholstered seat with fabric provided by Cefyn Burgess. I’ve called them the Berwyn chairs because I spent most of my time staring the Berwyn Hills when I should have been working. The table is a parquet of British hardwoods and is a reprise of an old idea. I’m really pleased with the way everything has turned out. As usual the design kept evolving even as I was making them, but true to form they have a beastly look about them, as though they might leap across the room of their own accord – just how I like it.
A client asked for a set of dining furniture for two people. They won't be expecting this. No one expects this. I didn't expect it.
