Hey Guys, I've been a little quiet on here but certainly not in the studio. The usual fabulous frantic countdown to Christmas.
My lovely customers also had an incredible joiner in to fit new worktops, a breakfast bar and gorgeous flooring.
For the cabinets and doors I used Fusion Mineral Paint UK Sterling - the coolest neutral, this silver-grey crosses a number of design styles from traditional to contemporary to coastal. It's equal parts calm and refreshing.
Stunning new hardware was added to complete what I hope you'll agree is quite an incredible transformation 🥰 (before pic included)

Hey Guys, chasing my tail a wee bit with a crazy amount of orders but managed to grab some pics of this fantastic dining table , chairs and Welsh Dresser.
I'm sure you can see from the before pics that although fantastic solid furniture, the colour had definitely gone orange over the last 20 years or so and the amount of metal hardware was dating it in such a lovely bright modern room.
The tops were stripped and redone in a beautiful mellow French Oak that removes that orange appearance and then everything else was beautifully transformed with Fusion Mineral Paint Victorian Lace...a lush cool contemporary.
Hope you agree that it's quite a transformation 🥰🥰🥰

My customers Alistair and Heather were bursting with ideas to transform this old family heirloom. It's easy to throw the kitchen sink at a piece and end up with a bit of a mish mash of ideas....my aim was to give them a one off piece which blended colours and techniques but remained really classy.
I hope you think I achieved it. I am thrilled with the end result and more importantly so are my customers 😁
As usual, I've got loads of completed work to post on here...I've been somewhat distracted with lots of exciting news in the background.
The main colour is a mix of Fusion Mineral Paint Coal Black and Midnight Blue, the pink is a custom mix of about 4 colours 😬 The peacock wallpaper is an absolute delight.....37 samples to find 😵‍💫
Nothing has been replaced on here apart from a replacement lock. All the original hardware has been restored.

Not the best weather to paint in but I'm deffo not complaining 😎
Really interesting conversation with a new kitchen customer today that made me think that maybe my page doesn't make it clear enough that I really do transform all sizes of kitchen...no size to small...or big and not just hand built....any style, any finish and I can even achieve unbelievable results with peeling, blistered and thoroughly damaged laminate.
Here's a Diddy kitchen commission I completed....stunning Fusion Mineral Paint UK Fusion Mineral Paint Ash.... contemporary hardware completed the look and totally transforms what was a tired, dark and old fashioned space 😁 Have a look at the before pics!

Hey guys, hope you've all had a fab weekend. Just thought I'd catch up and post pics before and after of a beautiful kitchen transformation I completed a couple of weeks ago 😁
Another laminate kitchen where unfortunately the foil on the doors and drawers was starting to peel off. Much easier for me to remove it all rather than work with an unstable surface that won't last.
Primed and hand finished in the stunning Fusion Mineral Paint Fusion Mineral Paint UK Belwood. I love this stunning subtle green.

Managed to get some quality lighting this week again and head to a beautiful Derbyshire village to photograph a kitchen I transformed earlier in the year 🤩
Completed in Fusion Mineral Paint Victorian Lace and the island has been finished in Fusion Mineral Paint UK Homestead Blue. Forgot to take before pics again 🫣
I'm never sure if I explain the process of my kitchen transformations properly but the key issue to remember is that at no point during the job is your kitchen ever out of action!!! This always seems to be the big winner for customers...a pain free and non disruptive total transformation 🥳🥳🥳

Pretty in Pink 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Wow, these previously painted chairs were a tough challenge to completely strip and refinish
This is one of those transformations where you've really got to look at the before pics to see how much has gone into it and the very reason why upcycling is so much more rewarding than chucking away and buying new.
The table top has been sanded back to raw wood and refinished in French Oak varnish, the table legs have been finished in Fusion Mineral Paint Rose Water and the chair fabric has been recovered and the frames painted in a custom mix of Rose Water, Cranberry and Curiously Pink.
A labour of love but I really hope you think it was worth it.

Completed today in sunny Balderton Newark... couldn't resist a couple of pics of my customers stunning garden at the end 😍 Finished in Fusion Mineral Paint Fusion Mineral Paint UK Pebble...a stunning warm pale grey.
Wonderful to be painting in quality light again and to be able to capture my work on camera properly. Loved doing this one and my customer Margaret is thrilled with the transformation of her existing kitchen with a colour that both sits well with her classic/modern styling
Would be so grateful as always if you could share away....kitchens are pretty booked up this year but I do have a gap June/July if you could share that news for me.

Isn't the weather out there just fabulous ☀️🌞☀️🌞 This sunshine is so welcome and it's meant I've been able to get out their and finally photograph 7 kitchens I've completed over the last few months that I've been unable to show you because of such poor light.
I've been desperate to show you this one first...I get so many enquires where potential customers think that their kitchen is just too far gone to be transformed and they are facing having to pay out for a brand new one.
I promise 99/100 it honestly isn't 🎉
This beauty is the perfect example...water and heater damage from appliances meant that the laminate coating was literally falling off the doors. I've done some close ups for you in the pics to see but tbh, it was on every door.
The whole lot needed peeling off, the doors prepped before I could create some magic .
🪄 I really hope you can see what a stunning transformation this is from the initial starting point. The customer has painted the walls and added some cool new flooring and I think the final result is fab.

I absolutely love love this transformation for my customer Clare. Part of a big house project. These Stag bedsides have been given a whole new lease of life in this stunning smokey blue created with a custom mix of Fusion Mineral Paint Ash and Homestead Blue. The tops and pullouts have been very carefully sanded back to raw wood and treated to 3 coats of clear wax and I'm particularly pleased with the new hardware I sourced. A simple but so effective transformation I think 😍
