We would like to congratulate our Operations Director, Steve Hollins on acheiving his FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid For Mental Health.

Steve Hollins said “ this is a very fulfilling achievement for me personally and it also shows an ongoing commitment from Wade Spring to offer a supportive working environment”.

Medium Loop Springs

Medium Loop springs in the UK are predominately used in motion furniture, 4.00mm and 4.10mm are the most commonly used diameters for this application. On the continent Medium Loop springs – 3.60mm, 3.80mm, 4.00mm – are used as an alternative to Zig Zag springs in seating applications.

Our Medium Loop springs can be manufactured in a range of different gauges, lengths and arcs.

Super-loop springs are used in backs and the vast majority are either 11g/2.95mm or 10g/3.25mm, 11g/2.95mm being the most popular.

Zig Zag Springs

In the UK Zig Zags springs are used for seating applications. Currently 9g/3.60mm Zig Zag springs are the most commonly used, although the demand for 8.5g/3.80mm and 8g/4.00mm has increased significantly in recent years.
