We also then use the wood from our wood store to make bespoke wood items for resale, any wood that cannot be recycled in this way is then made into firewood.
Just Wood Leicestershire CIC is a not for profit, public wood yard, saving tonnes of woods from just being thrown away and chipped, sorting these and selling reclaimed woods, working with volunteers of all ages, to gain confidence and learn new skills. We collect waste wood from construction sites and other business that create wood waste, We take it to our workshops clean it, grade it and then place it into our public wood yard for resale.

Can we give a big hello to Sujit who has joined us today as a volunteer and has just completed his Manual Handling course.
Well done Sujit, and we look forward to working ith you, and now he is off making some kindling already.

Weldone to our long time serving volunteer Chris who has today passed her CPD in 'Safeguarding Adults Awareness' course
Chris often helps work with other volunteers on the yard.
