Today we’re proud to recognise a special milestone for Alwood – welcoming our very first female apprentice.

Meet Bella, who is currently studying Joinery & Carpentry as she begins her career in the industry. Her enthusiasm, determination and willingness to learn have already made a fantastic impression, and we’re excited to be part of her journey.

The joinery and manufacturing industries have traditionally been male-dominated, but that’s changing. More women are choosing careers in skilled trades than ever before, bringing fresh perspectives, creativity and talent to the profession. We believe the future of our industry is stronger when opportunities are open to everyone.
