Awkward space doesn’t have to mean wasted space.

By following the lines of the room, this installation turns an area beneath a sloping ceiling into practical storage. The oak-effect fronts and shelving add some warmth, while the white framework keeps the overall look clean and understated.

Designed for the room and designed to be used.

There’s quite a lot going on here, even though the finished design looks deliberately simple.

Deep drawers, useful worktop space, adjustable open shelving and a full-height cupboard have all been fitted around the sloping ceiling.

It’s a good example of why made-to-measure furniture works particularly well in rooms where standard furniture simply doesn’t fit.

Sloping ceilings can make a room interesting, but they can also make it difficult to furnish properly.

This bespoke installation was designed around the shape of the room, using the available height and depth to create drawers, open shelving and cupboard space without making the room feel crowded.

Clean, simple and built for the space rather than squeezed into it.

This awkward area under the stairs has been turned into practical storage, with shelving, shoe space, seating and plenty of room for coats – all made to fit around the staircase.

Bespoke is particularly useful when nothing off the shelf is going to fit.

Small room? Awkward space? That doesn’t mean you have to compromise on your home office.

This one combines a bespoke oak desk and shelving with integrated lighting and a smart panelled wall to create a proper working space without making the room feel crowded.

Working from home is a lot easier when the workspace is designed around you.

This bespoke home office makes full use of the garden room, with a generous oak worktop, plenty of storage and everything fitted neatly into the available space.

A timber frame on the floor doesn't give much away, does it?

But that was the starting point for this bespoke oak hi-fi and vinyl unit, designed around the customer's equipment, their record collection and the space available.

The finished piece gives them masses of adjustable shelving for the vinyl, dedicated space for the hi-fi equipment, a generous full-width surface and plenty of useful storage underneath.

A good example of why bespoke works so well. Start with what needs to go into the furniture, then build the furniture around it.
