Aspen 2 is alkylate petrol premixed at 50:1 with a premium quality biodegradable 2-stroke oil. Suitable for chainsaws, clearing saws, hedge trimmers, power cutters and other land-based 2-stroke engines.

Aspen 4 is alkylate petrol without oil – suitable for lawnmowers, rotary cultivators, snow blowers, boats and other 4-stroke engines. Ordinary petrol contains ethanol which attracts moisture and can cause engine failures. Aspen Alkylate Petrol contains no ethanol, making it ideal for use in marine environments.

Wood Yard Operative

Competitive salary plus benefits including company pension scheme

Hours
Monday-Friday 8.00-5.00
Saturday 8.00-12.00 (working every other)
40 hour basic week
Overtime 11/2 basic
Hourly rate depends on qualifications
What does the role involve?
In this role you will assist with assembling orders, operating a forklift truck and generally keeping the yard in good order. In addition you will also be required to assist with unloading daily deliveries when requested and taking out deliveries. The role will sometimes involve meeting targets, order timeframes and assembling orders therefore flexibility is key for this position.
As a Yard Operative at Ellis Dawe & Son ltd you will be expected to abide to the health and safety policy when undertaking all duties. The successful candidate is expected to have good character, be punctual, methodical in their work and enjoy team working.
If you have a flair for customer service, good knowledge of the sector and are looking for somewhere to enhance your career, this role is ideal!
To apply, candidates should have experience driving a forklift and willing to obtain a forklift licence, have good knowledge of safe working practices and have an interest in the timber industry and products available.
